First sunbeams
Catch the light
On my wet face.
I pour my heart out
To You my Father God.
Words are not enough
To press out the fullness.
Expression overflows
Spills out of my eyes.
Love me God.
Put Your arms around me.
Squeeze tight
Like a daddy.
Let these glistening drops
Verbalize the unspoken volumes.
Let these rivulets of water
Germinate hopes sown in prayer.
Let these salty gems
Fall into Your divine pocket
So they will not be lost.
Eternal intimate communication
In the earthy form of
TEARS.
