Addressing the True God
Introduction
One of the most important things to remember when beginning prayer is to make sure we are praying to the real God. How do we know we are truly hearing from Him? How do we go about addressing Him? There are many people who have the same name but are very different from one another. If we wanted to send a letter to a friend named John, we would narrow the search at the post office for our specific friend by associating the first and last name with the specific street address, the city, the state and finally the zip code. Does the true God have a specific address? Does He need one? I don’t think God gets confused at all, but the problem is that human beings get confused about how to distinguish the true God from false ones.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus, who was born in the flesh approximately 2000 years ago, led a sinless, holy life, suffered and died on the cross and rose again to life to conquer our sin and death. It is to You and You alone that I pray. When I use Your proper titles (Lord, God, Jesus, etc.), I am referring only to You as defined in this prayer. I ask that You would protect against all imposters and purify all concepts and internal images of You in my system. I give no permission to internal parts to call on anyone but You or to answer prayer as one who has taken on a role as an internal god, christ or holy spirit. Please expose and remove from my parts all false internal identities of You. I ask You, Lord, to take authority over all demonic and to bind, expose and defeat their works.
Thank You, Lord. Amen.
Keeping the Christian Host Present
Introduction
The next most important thing to remember is to keep the Christian host, or system of parts who comprise the Christian host, in executive control of the body. Dissociative barriers are present because there is often not enough joy strength to handle the traumatic information held by each part. Such barriers can exist even between those parts who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Traumatic information will be shared between parts as the Lord builds joy strength over time. Don’t rush the process of parts coming together. Let God bring them together in His timing. However, it is important to make sure He truly has been given control of the healing process. Here are some elements to include in prayer to help ensure that God has been given control to keep the host present and has been put in charge of what is consciously remembered.
Prayer
I ask You to take authority over all switching of parts, and to bring up the one or ones who know You and those that You desire to hear this prayer. I give no permission for any parts to answer in my place (such as the false Christian host system) and I ask that You show me and expose to others (external helpers) when I have switched to another part. Give Your strength to the Christian host system. You have permission, Lord, to keep these parts out and in executive control of the body. You have permission to keep them aware of information and available to handle any situation which You desire them to handle, according to the joy strength of each part.
I give up the right to decide for myself what I can handle and I trust You to know what I or any part can handle each day and for each situation. I revoke any agreements that I or any part of me have made not to know truth and to remain amnesic and protected from the truth through dissociation or demonic control of information. I give You permission, Lord, to stand between parts to guard each from being overwhelmed by the others and by the information they carry until You know I am ready to receive it. I give You control over the flow of information between parts.
Common Demonic Strongholds
Introduction
Strongholds are a term given to the demonic forces when they have found a pattern of sin that has become a long-standing problem. These are usually difficult areas to overcome. We have selected the strongholds that commonly plague mankind. These strongholds are used as foundational tools of the enemy for building false beliefs, programming and prolonged dissociation in a survivor’s life. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Cor. 10:4-5)
Prayer
I come before You in repentance for the strongholds in my life. I invite you to bring to my mind, as I am stilled in Your presence, all of the sins for which I require conviction today. Enable me to repent with a contrite heart and to walk out that repentance. I rely on You to illuminate my path and to keep me from straying from You. Sin distances me from You, and that is the worst pain of all. In Your kindness, show me if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Fear… Pride… Unbelief… Rebellion…Unforgiveness… Control…Leaning on my own understanding.
Basic Essential Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus, who was born in the flesh approximately 2000 years ago, led a sinless, holy life, suffered and died on the cross and rose again to life to conquer our sin and death. It is to You and You alone that I pray…I relinquish the right to decide for myself what I can handle today, and instead I trust You not to overwhelm me. According to my joy capacity, which You are daily building in me, bring memories and information to me at the pace for which You know I am ready… I ask for Your mercy when any part of me harbors un-forgiveness. I confess that since You have forgiven and accepted me, I am commanded to forgive and accept not only the persons who have hurt me, but also myself and all of my parts, regardless of what was done. I choose to accept Your forgiveness, and I am eternally grateful…Lord, show me anything within my system in Your timing that stands in the way of Your perfect peace. I give You permission to show me today about any parts with false identities. Please reveal to me when there is internal conflict and direct me in discerning any sin patterns and any truths which would speak to the distress. I invite You to convict me whenever I act or think in contradiction to Your will. I thank You and I praise You for this day. May I glorify You in everything I do. Amen.
Basic Essential Evening Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus, who was born in the flesh approximately 2000 years ago, led a sinless, holy life, suffered and died on the cross and rose again to life to conquer our sin and death. It is to You and You alone that I pray. When I use Your proper titles (Lord, God, Jesus, etc.), I am referring only to You as defined in this prayer. I ask that You would protect against all imposters and purify all concepts and internal images of You in my system… I commit this time of prayer to You and ask that You bring up to the surface my true Christian host system and whichever parts You want present to hear this prayer. Please take control of all switching tonight and disallow any action which would be against my true heart… Thank you that You watch over me during the night. Please protect me and all of my loved ones tonight. In Your Name I bind and renounce all demonic from attacking any of us, including all ruling spirits and shared spirits. I bind astral projections from entering or leaving my house… I renounce any programs of insomnia or hyper-vigilance. I renounce any roles of parts to keep watch. (That is Your job, Lord.)… I thank You and praise You for Your sovereign care. Amen.
