Help, I've Got a Question
|
"The evidence is rapidly accumulating that the problem of severe trauma is considerable in scope and extremely grave in its consequences. In 1992 alone, Childhelp USA logged 1,741 calls pertaining to ritual abuse alone. Monarch Resources of Los Angeles logged approximately 5,000, Real Active Survivors tallied nearly 3,600, Justus Unlimited of Colorado received almost 7,000, and Looking Up of Maine handled around 6,000 calls." The Journal of Psychohistory 22(3) Winter 1995 |

The goal of Help, I've Got a Question is to provide a low or no-cost resource of support and networking opportunity for wounded people and supporters such as therapists, clergy, and community organizations. We are also prepared to answer questions concerning our community, our Manna Congregation and any other questions that may help someone else in their healing progress. Many abuse survivors and counselors seeking information on helpful treatment techniques and resources have found high costs involved when making inquiries from professionals. Although there is usually no cost for contacts made with non-professional groups, they often do not have adequate experience to offer assistance. It is C.A.R.E.'s goal to offer such professional assistance through Help, I've Got a Question. |
